What will you do as a Regional Marketing Manager (EMEA)?

As the Regional Marketing Manager (EMEA), you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance the brand's presence and drive business growth across the EMEA region. This role involves creating and leading digital marketing campaigns, overseeing trade show activities, and managing cross-functional communication with global teams. You will be tasked with driving brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales efforts through targeted marketing activities. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Content Manager while providing leadership over the small regional marketing team and work closely with regional sales teams, ensuring alignment of marketing initiatives with regional needs and goals.

  • Strategic Planning & Positioning: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to enhance LMI’s corporate positioning and product presence in EMEA, including market development, product positioning, and penetration strategies.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Implement a digital-based, content marketing strategy to position LMI’s products as leaders in the machine vision and technology sectors.
  • Campaign Development: Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns through LinkedIn, company website, and other major web platforms, with a focus on industries and associations across the EMEA region.
  • Content Creation & Presentation: Develop and create presentations, webinars, and speaking engagement content to promote LMI’s products and services.
  • Digital Campaign Optimization: Drive the optimization of digital marketing campaigns by improving design templates, calls-to-action, and ROI tracking.
  • Lead Generation & SEO/SEM: Optimize SEO/SEM efforts and develop innovative engagement strategies across digital channels to generate quality leads. Implement marketing automation strategies between website and social media platforms.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee site analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting, regularly presenting findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Product Launches: Plan and execute successful product launches, ensuring regional coordination and global consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Brand Management: Strengthen and maintain the brand’s unique image and voice, building relevance and equity among target audiences and ensuring a strong company reputation.
  • Team & Goal Management: Establish team goals, metrics, and KPIs, and collaborate with the Marketing team and external stakeholders (Product Management, EMEA Sales, and technical application teams) to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with regional sales teams to align marketing strategy with sales goals, generating sales tools (presentations, videos, posters) to support the sales process.
  • Trade Show & Event Management: Oversee global trade show management, ensuring consistent branding and product demos, and manage the inventory of materials for trade shows and seminars.
  • Regional Strategy Alignment: Adapt marketing strategies to regional needs, ensuring synergy across the EMEA region while aligning with global objectives.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and tracking of spend.
  • Marketing Automation & Martech Optimization: Continuously optimize the martech stack and team outputs to ensure efficient processes and effective tools for marketing success.
  • Customer & Sales Communication: Generate case studies, coordinate with customers and sales teams, and provide support to sales teams in developing regional marketing plans.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure LMI’s marketing efforts remain innovative and competitive.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor other marketing team members by providing guidance, training and performance management. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

What do you need to be successful?

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of marketing experience in a comparable industry, with at least 2 years in a team management position.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, including the use of platforms like LinkedIn, HubSpot, and marketing automation tools.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that exceed objectives and generate measurable results.
  • Experience in the machine vision, technology, or high-tech industry is an asset.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and collaborate across regions and teams.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards shared goals.
  • Ability to analyze marketing metrics, optimize campaigns, and report on performance with a focus on continuous improvement.
