Description:  

Responsible for overseeing and driving the operational and financial performance of multiple branches within a designated geographic region <$15M.   

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, horticulture, or a related field or equivalent experience is required. 
  • Relevant certifications or advanced education in business, leadership, or industry-specific fields is a plus.  

Experience:  

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the lawn care, landscaping, or chemical services industry, with at least 7 years in a leadership or management role. 
  • Proven track record of managing multiple locations or teams, driving operational performance, and achieving financial objectives. 
  • Strong experience in budget management, strategic planning, and team leadership. 
  • Obtaining and maintaining applicator license(s) by applicable state(s) is required.

General Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the operations of multiple branches within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with company goals, regional objectives, and overall business strategy.  
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction. 
  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of branches, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.  
  • Develop and manage the region's budget, including revenue forecasts, expense management, and cost control initiatives.  
  • Monitor P&L for each branch and the overall region, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and reduce operational costs. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers and other key team members across the region.  
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to ensure a high level of performance and employee engagement. 
  • Ensure that customer needs are met, and that service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.  
  • Address escalated customer concerns, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that feedback is used to improve service quality. 
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee productivity.  
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership and identify areas for improvement or growth. 
  • Ensure all branches within the region are compliant with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices. 
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs across all branches in the region.  
  • Work closely with corporate teams, including HR, marketing, customer service, and safety departments, to ensure alignment on regional objectives and initiatives.  
  • Identify potential risks in the region, including operational, financial, or compliance-related risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. 
  • Ensure that branches are adequately staffed with the right talent, including recruiting, training, and retaining employees.  
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring that branches have the tools, equipment, and support necessary for success. 
  • Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry changes within the region.
