JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role will be responsible, together with Regional Directors, to enhance regional performance by leading the implementation of commercial initiatives and provide actionable insights that align regional strategies with global objectives and the commercial masterplan. They will drive impact on business growth, operational efficiency, and the overall success of the company

  • Responsible for enabling the Regional Commercial team to be best positioned to deliver on its business objectives and bring value to clients and suppliers by establishing clear Regional focus areas, driving execution effectiveness, and spearheading best practices across and between teams

  • This role will be working closely with the Regional Commercial Directors of Sourcing and Sales, and work in partnership with different areas of Commercial Enablement Hub and Centres of Excellence to drive results, execution of ways of working/company strategy and bring value to external stakeholders and the company overall

  • This position will also be responsible for crafting plans to address market opportunities. This will be done in close coordination with Commercial Planning & Performance, Commercial Optimization and Regional Directors

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Commercial Master Plan, ensuring that all key activities impacting the commercial team are clearly defined and aligned (including new product launches). This includes coordinating and scheduling key initiatives while considering major events to avoid conflicts and optimize the team’s focus and resources. Main aim to ensure capacity and sufficiency to implement committed plans

  • Drive the implementation of Global commercial initiatives, including the rollout of new ways of working, commercial tools and processes (including accelerating the implementation of the Ecosystem and growth agendas) by mobilizing teams, gathering feedback and articulating needs to succeed

  • Lead regional or ad-hoc initiatives by addressing region-specific commercial needs in collaboration with other departments. Be involved in ad-hoc initiatives to ensure successful global implementation, aligning regional strategies with broader global objectives

  • Collaborate closely with Sourcing and Sales Centers of Excellence and other teams within Commercial Enablement Hub to leverage best practices and regional expertise, identify specific regional needs and ensure effective execution. This includes overseeing testing and piloting phases, providing feedback and ensuring successful adoption across the team

  • Enhance regional performance and team activation by supporting senior management in defining action plans, leading implementation and consolidating feedback. Partner with P&P teams to improve analysis and enabling data-driven insights that mobilize teams. Transform data into actionable regional insights that highlight opportunities and gaps and lead the identification and execution of impactful initiatives to improve overall performance

  • Central contact point for several departments / tasks, such as

Coordinate specific meetings preparation and exercises (ie. budget planning), gathering feedback and ensuring necessary actions are taken across departments – acting as central point Regionally

Facilitate coordination or escalation to other areas, focusing on frameworks and SLAs to maintain alignment and efficiency

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects & tight deadlines

  • Ability to quickly understand what is required and to elaborate and follow up plans to achieve it

  • Ability to work in matrix environments and quickly adapt to adjusted priorities

  • Deep knowledge on Hotelbeds systems and organigram (who does what) will be needed to succeed

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in Sourcing or Sales

  • Demonstrated experience in Data analysis

  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce

  • High level of written/verbal English (working environment)
