We are excited to announce an amazing opportunity for a Regional Commercial Leader! This role is based in Azerbaijan and offers the flexibility of fully remote work, with travel expected across the region.

The main objective of the Country Commercial Leader is to drive our ambitious business expansion and market development plans in the Eurasia countries. This dynamic role involves serving as the overall sales management leader, relationship manager, and strategic business partner, responsible for developing and expanding new business opportunities within customer accounts in the Life Science and Healthcare sector.

This role reports directly to the Cluster Lead, Eurasia.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Manage client relationships by establishing long-term, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders (mostly Pharma Companies)
  • Research and identify target markets, perform in-depth presentations, strategic analysis, and execution of implemented plans for the company offerings
  • Actively network in the industry to acquire new customers
  • Represents the company in front of strategic external conferences and events with clients and external partners, incl. Governmental institutions
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all IQVIA services for appropriate cross-sell opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
  • Continuously monitor status of Customer Account Plans and business targets to ensure a pipeline of opportunities is maintained and continuously developed

Key experience, skills, competencies:

  • Relevant university degree preferably in Business Management, Economics or similar disciplines
  • Commercial experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
  • Proven track record in identifying and developing sales leads
  • Tech Savviness
  • Oral and written fluency in English
  • Business leadership

Additional Requirements

  • Pharma, Healthcare, Life science background and in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to build relations with local networks and senior stakeholders in the Healthcare sector (clients, institutions, providers)
