The Regional After Sales Marketing Specialist (RAMS) is a key regional representative responsible for leading and implementing aftersales marketing initiatives within their designated region. This role supports the alignment of regional service marketing strategies with national client objectives, ensuring consistent brand messaging and measurable impact across dealer networks. We are looking for a proactive problem solver with strong marketing skills to develop and deliver success for their region.

What you’ll do:

  • RAM will represent one of four total regions across the United States ; Central, Northeast, Pacific, Southeast
  • This is a Region based position which will be based within each of the four client Region offices.
  • Client will be involved in the final interviews and selection of these candidates.
  • Support and collaborate with the Regional Service & Parts field management in ensuring Service Marketing (SMG) direction compliments Regional/national strategies and direction.
  • Lead all Service Marketing Groups (SMG’s) relationships as it relates to after sales, execution, maintenance, reporting and meetings within the regions.
  • Lead consistent flow of communication between corporate teams, regions, client’s Fixed Ops Managers (FOMs), agencies (if need be) and dealers.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to all local advertising, communications, events & promotions in pursuit of Sales & Market Share goals. Ensure client Marketing IQ delivers effective and results driven support to the Region’s SMG markets.
  • Develop Regional marketing & media plans with respective advertising & media agencies, under the direction of Volkswagen Corporate After Sales, in connection with the FOMs.
  • Coordinate annual/quarterly/monthly planning sessions ensuring alignment with national/Regional strategies.
  • Ensure all communications & advertising efforts strategically support and are fully integrated with national marketing campaigns.
  • Lead sourcing of relevant data, metrics, and industry data to educate SMG with distribution, strategy, global paid media agency of record, etc.
  • Track & analyze metrics for the SMG. Provide findings to the corporate, region, field teams, dealers, and agencies
  • Lead monthly updates and communications via Regional newsletter/blog; coordinate with agencies and the region to localize key messages, updates, strategies and media / national advertising plans
  • Facilitate iterative process to ensure the flow of information and feedback is consistent and ongoing between the SMG’s, the regions and corporate.
  • Visit and network with dealers and SMG’s.
  • Provide consistent communication to Fixed Operations Managers regarding Marketing strategies & plans.
  • Ensure SMG’s creative design addresses immediate Regional challenges while remaining consistent with overall Brand goals.
  • Counsel Dealers on local marketing & advertising activities, ensuring Brand & message consistency.
  • Ensure feedback and engagement in creative development of library and support assets. Ensure early involvement of dealers to provide input through to the region and National Service Advisory Council (NSAC) – to ensure pre-planning of advertising options so that we are not just offering choices.
  • Ability to identify and anticipate challenges within the market.
  • Optimize utilization of service & parts Co-op budgets & directly use funds & creatively deploy.
  • Assure client service & parts guidelines & rules are followed.
  • Knowledgeable in traditional and digital marketing tactics, and the digital landscape of: Dealer Websites, SEO, Paid Search, Display Advertising, Social and Reputation Management, eCommerce, Analytics and Reporting

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in automotive marketing, preferably within OEM, dealership, or regional field environments
  • Strong understanding of the aftersales business, including fixed operations, service, and parts marketing
  • Proven experience developing and driving integrated marketing strategies across both traditional and digital channels
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with field teams, dealerships, and corporate partners
  • Familiarity with regional/local marketing dynamics
  • Hands-on experience working with marketing agencies and leading vendor relationships
  • Proficient in marketing analytics, reporting tools, and important metrics with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience leading co-op budgets and ensuring brand and compliance standards are upheld
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
