JOB PURPOSE:
The Regional Account Manager for Food Service is responsible for managing and coordinating sales activities within the subordinated region in alignment with the agreed strategy, objectives, plans, and budgets. In this role one will develop sustainable profitable growth, optimizing volume, turnover and profitability within specific area. With the support of Regional Sales Manager, you will develop the appropriate action plans for your customers. These action plans should be aligned with the strategy which your Regional Sales Manager set up.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Drive regional sales growth aligned with European targets, focusing on volume, profitability, and product mix.
- Account & Distributor Management: Build strong partnerships with key distributors and end-users, negotiate deals, and implement action plans to maximize performance.
- Data & Digital-Driven Sales: Manage inbound leads effectively through CRM (Salesforce), support digital campaigns, and optimize lead conversion. Ensure high-quality data entry for accurate tracking and insights.
- Market & Performance Analysis: Leverage data to analyze market trends, customer needs, and distributor performance, driving informed business decisions.
- Product & Business Development: Manage product portfolio, contribute to new product development, and collaborate cross-functionally to support growth.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Deliver data-driven sales reports, track activities in Salesforce, and support digitalization efforts to enhance efficiency and performance.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's in business, marketing, or related field (Master's a plus). 5+ years in sales or account management, ideally in food service.
- Sales & Market Expertise: Proven ability to drive sales growth, with strong knowledge of distribution channels, customer segments, and market trends.
- Key Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Strategic, results-driven, and customer-focused.
- Proficient in CRM tools and data analysis.
- Languages: Fluent in Italian & English (written & spoken).
- Leadership & Adaptability: Agile, resilient, and aligned with McCain's leadership principles. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility: Willing to travel as required.
