Position Summary:

This position is part of the Commercial Light Products North Division - National Accounts and reports to the National Accounts Senior Director.

The position provides exposure to the entire MPC light products system through monthly forecasting and support of annual RFP analysis.  The role should be viewed as a growth opportunity for a highly motivated individual. The successful candidate should have strong critical thinking and communication skills, drive for results and a service-oriented approach. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns the sales forecasting process and system to include reviewing National Accounts out-month forecasts and updates; monitoring actual sales versus forecast by commodity by terminal; assessing market dynamics; making relevant updates to the forecast; coordinating customer supply shifts; determining product availability at terminals; and investigating reasons for product outages.  

  • Responsible for data analysis to support day-to-day operations, including the analysis of market alternatives, assessment of profitability in business opportunities, and market analysis for potential new-market entry.   

  • Collaborates with BP&A for the development and administration of the business plan, tactical plans, and expense budgets.  

  • Responsible for, in collaboration with Business Operations, the development and maintenance of scorecard metrics for organization goals, competitive bid documentation, and contracts.  

  • Represents National Accounts interests on various corporate governance and business response teams, along with cross-regional/organizational initiatives pertaining to evolving technology, process improvements, metrics reporting, contract management and supply dynamics.

  • Manages the onboarding of the CPVC new hire process by coordinating and facilitating initial training.

  • Prepares and reviews bids/proposals and maintains contracts in RightAngle in addition to monitoring overall contract performance in partnership with Business Operations.  

  • Reviews and approves purchase orders, invoices, and expenses.  

  • Has formal supervisory responsibilities; coordinates resources and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives . Provides performance management of team. 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline required. 
  • Six (6) years of Marketing, Accounting, IT, Commercial or Engineering background required. 
  • Experience in the following software preferred: RightAngle, Allocation Manager, SalesForce, Microsoft Office Suite, NVision, CDM, Appian, SAP, Tableau
