Cleveland Clinic’s Talent Acquisition team has recently garnered awards for its dedication to developing caregivers by embracing automation, providing technology and resources, and holding communities of practice, learning salons and weekly improvement models. Caregivers in this department work closely together and are supported by involved leaders eager to provide coaching.
In this role, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for all new hire compliance and day-one readiness. Ensuring that the caregiver meets all minimum requirements of their role, background checks, licensures, certifications, fingerprinting, education, and employment verification is critical to ensure regulatory readiness for all internal transfers and external hires. The role of the Recruitment Coordinator will serve as the pre-boarding liaison between recruitment and our candidates, ensuring they begin in their role on day one, meeting all necessary preboarding requirements.
If you are skilled in customer service, have strong critical thinking and time management skills, this is an excellent role for someone seeking to explore Talent Acquisition. Supporting a high-volume team, this caregiver will play a part in onboarding 24,000 caregivers annually.
A caregiver in this position works 7:00am—4:00pm or 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Facilitate and coordinate new Caregiver HR appointments.

Assist with key processes that include background checks, education, employment, and certification verification.

Process welcome and offer letters.

Maintain the I-9 dashboard and communicate non-compliance appropriately.

Track and report timely on new Caregiver status as it relates to HR appointment readiness and attendance, missing documents, and clearance.

Responsible for achieving individual goals and metrics and assists in meeting departmental goals.

Coordinate or assist with recruitment events as directed by Talent Acquisition leadership.

Provide support with miscellaneous projects and spreadsheet work.

Responsible for onboarding, training, and coaching new Caregivers.

Partners with Human Resources for compliance and regulatory audits, reviews, and inspections.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

High School Diploma or GED.

Two years of customer service experience.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Previous human resources or customer service experience.

Experience with computers and Microsoft Office suite.

Experience in prioritizing and multi-tasking in a flexible, fast paced environment.
