The Recruiting Manager is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategy, as well as broadly supervising a team of recruiters. Support personnel to meet client requests, deadlines, and overall account strategy. Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for in-center, vendor, and staff positions throughout the division. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure, as well as an extensive knowledge of Company policies and procedures, and domestic laws regarding employment practices. Tracks, reports, and evaluates team performance in goal attainment, ensures accountability to adhere to assigned goals, and provides disciplinary action when needed. Additionally, prepares performance appraisals and make recommendations concerning promotions, separations, performance improvement plans, or shifting of staff.
Responsabilities:
- Oversee full cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, testing, negotiating offers, and background checks for in-center, vendor, and staff positions
- Manage and facilitate the interview process to ensure a positive and timely experience for candidates and hiring managers
- Conduct regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation; advise managers on best practices pertaining to recruitment and selection processes
- Establish, direct, and implement overall recruitment strategy
- Develop position descriptions and resources and advise on advertisement strategies
- Develop team’s skill-set and knowledge base to more effectively achieve recruiting objectives
- Manage and report on the activity of assigned recruiters
- Develop and implement recruitment procedures and make recommendations on process improvements
- Provide processes for quick and professional follow up with candidates, hiring managers, team, and direct manager
- Partner with internal creative on development of recruiting pieces and job postings to ensure recruitment message is standardized and consistent across all functions
- Works with company leadership to evaluate and analyze new staffing challenges as they evolve
- Execute disciplinary procedures and document corrective actions
- Display proficiency in accurate record keeping and data analysis; complete weekly reports on testing and hiring activity, as well as other reports as requested
- Track in-center turnover rate and analyze survey results, report on trends, and make recommendations to senior management
- Provide consultative guidance on process improvement and effective staffing/hiring techniques to hiring managers and HR contacts and advise those key stakeholders of recruitment issues and process
- Educate and guide team members in the successful utilization of various recruiting methodologies, e.g. applicant tracking system database, employee referrals, internal job posting, industry referrals, networking, web, and personally leverage those resources when recruiting
- Actively participate in job fairs, conferences and other promotional activities as appropriate
- Work closely with the Testing, Training, Quality and Operations departments to ensure that recruited candidates fit the desired profile
- Manage and report on the activity of assigned recruiters
Required Skills:
- Minimum two years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance working autonomously with contributing to the team's or company's objectives
- Ability to manage own performance effectively; ability to adjust schedules in order to respond to ambiguity, obstacles and opportunities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a high-pressure / fast-paced environment
- Adaptability, strong time management, quick response, and high level of customer service
- Knowledge, communication, business and change management skills of a high level
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
- Proficient in MS Office (Must have experience with Outlook, Word and Excel) and Applicant Tracking System
- Experience developing social media recruitment campaigns
- Proven record of developing staffing strategies from conceptualization, implementation through to institutionalization
Desired Skills:
- Minimum two years of call-center staffing/recruiting experience
- Experience with quality systems such as ISO and Six Sigma
