What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Create exceptional candidate experiences by maintaining clear communication, managing processes efficiently, and providing timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with the People Team to design and implement strategies for sourcing, referrals, research, and community events to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Immerse yourself in Apptegy’s approach to the candidate and employee experience by learning our approach to recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training to align with company goals.
  • Develop deep insights into Apptegy’s culture and team dynamics to effectively identify and meet hiring needs across departments.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates through direct outreach, networking, employee referrals, and university recruitment initiatives.
  • Schedule, screen, interview and assess candidates to ensure a cultural and technical fit both via video and on-site interviews, and contributing to candidate evaluations alongside People Team and Department Heads.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
  • Serve as Apptegy’s ambassador at events, engaging with the community to expand our network and showcase our employer brand.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize hiring efficiency.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Who You Are (Required Qualifications)

  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting or HR (preferably within a SaaS or tech-driven environment) or comparable experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for people, culture, and helping companies grow with top talent.

What Makes You Valuable (But Not Required)

  • Experience hiring for both technical (engineering, product, data) and non-technical roles (sales, marketing, customer success).
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruiting best practices.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, etc.).
