The recruiter will be responsible for managing full cycle recruitment ensuring a high-touch positive client and candidate experience. Collaborate with TA leaders and business partners to develop and execute sourcing plans aligned with recruiting strategies, as well as developing creative ideas to attract top talent. You will work with hiring managers to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s). Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers. Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance. This position champions the ZEISS brand and supports the company goals and vision.
- Ensures all recruitment activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements, e.g. OFCCP, Affirmative Action plans, etc.; This includes preparing and auditing recruitment files.
- Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies
- Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs, online platforms
- Pre-screen job candidates
- Inform candidates fully about the job and company
- Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates
- Coordinate interview schedules and reserves conference rooms for interviews and/or group presentations.
- Brief and debrief candidates before and after interviews
- Facilitate reference and background checks for prospective candidates
- Assess compliance with the Opportunities for Promotion or Transfer Program.
- Place ads with various advertising channels – i.e. journals, Internet, colleges, affirmative action agencies. Conduct employment advertising campaigns and programs. Post all eligible job openings.
- Communicate with vendors and recruitment sources resolving vacancies as required.
- Documents candidate evaluation and interview process
- Manage all communication with candidates
- Provide regular updates and feedback to managers
- Manage applicant tracking system
- Maintain working knowledge of recruiting, selection and employment regulations.
- Adhere to applicable regulatory processes and procedures.
- Abide by state and federal employment laws.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years or related experience recruiting in a corporate environment.
- Experience with recruiting technical positions and utilizing web-based technology for sourcing candidates
- Experience in candidate sourcing solutions
- Proven ability to work with confidential material.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
- Experience with Workday HR information system and SharePoint preferred.
- Must possess excellent communication skills with ability to work well with all levels of staff in a multicultural environment.
- Must be highly motivated and organized.
