This role will be pivotal in driving talent acquisition strategies and building a high-performing workforce that aligns with our business goals.

Job Summary

The Recruiting Lead will oversee full-cycle recruitment activities for JDL’s operations in North America. This role will focus on attracting top talent, improving hiring processes, and supporting the company’s workforce needs in a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for warehouse, operations, and administrative roles.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles in the Fontana region.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruiting strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on hiring trends, challenges, and successes.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal hiring regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with external staffing agencies, job boards, and local communities to expand sourcing channels.
  • Implement creative sourcing techniques, including social media recruitment, employee referrals, and networking events.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position JDL as an employer of choice in the logistics industry.
  • Mentor and guide junior recruiters or support staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse environments.
    • Proven track record of managing full-cycle recruitment and delivering results.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing techniques.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with California labor laws and compliance requirements is a plus.
