Position Summary
The receptionist will be responsible for being the face of the Kodiak office as employees, guests, and visitors enter the office. The receptionist will provide support to the office completing essential duties for the office to run smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner and direct as needed
- Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
- Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Maintain the general office filing system
- Update business systems as requested
- Calendar maintenance
- Complete necessary orders for office needs as requested by Chief Receptionist and Office Manager
- Any other duties Kodiak may reasonably require you to perform
Education, Experience, & Training
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in an office environment
- Experience leading teams and performing in a leadership role
- Customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field required, Bachelors Degree preferred
Physical Demands
- Required to sit for long periods of time
- Infrequent light physical effort required
