Bilingual Receptionist – Portuguese/English
Job Summary:
The bilingual receptionist is responsible for providing support in serving internal and external customers, ensuring a friendly and efficient reception. This professional acts as the organization's first point of contact, demonstrating professionalism, discretion and the ability to communicate in more than one language.
Main Responsibilities:
• Receive and serve visitors, customers and suppliers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Answer telephone calls, filter and direct calls as needed, using fluency in the required languages
• Manage and respond to emails, correspondence and electronic messages in two languages
• Schedule and organize meetings, room reservations and logistical support.
• Provide general information about the company, services and products in a clear and objective manner.
• Assist in managing calendars, events and appointments related to the reception.
• Keep the reception area organized, ensuring that informational materials and resources are available.
• Register and control visitor entries and exits, following security protocols and company standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams in administrative and operational tasks, when necessary.
Requirements:
• Completed or ongoing higher education - will be considered a plus.
• Minimum intermediate English (will be able to assist people of other nationalities in person or by phone)
• Previous experience in reception or customer service.
• Skills with technological tools, such as Office suite, management systems and communication software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a professional demeanor and friendly service.
• Organization, proactivity and ability to solve problems quickly.
• Availability of working hours, if necessary.
