Job Description

Wage: $18-$20/hr DOE

Assist in areas when directed by Inventory/Receiving Manager.

  • Takes direction and mentoring from Inventory/Receiving Manager to ensure all Roles and Responsibilities are clearly understood and then executed upon.
  • Accurately receives all orders into Fulfillment Center.
    • Cross check all package counts against packing slip or bill of lading by carrier.
    • Upon verification is responsible to sign for acceptance of the shipment.
  • Inspects all inbound orders to ensure they are free from damage and to ensure expiration dates meet all requirements.
  • Reports any damaged items or product shortages to the Receiving Lead and ensures all procedures are followed to ensure the product is tracked appropriately through our system.
    • Notification of the damage/shortage to the appropriate Account Manager.
  • Prints out purchase orders, receives the merchandise against order and completes all relevant system steps as required to complete the order processing.
  • Documents all inbound freight daily per specific customer requirements.
  • Stocks the shelves and marks overstock boxes with proper SKU # and barcode; put overstock boxes in its proper overstock location.
  • Maintain a clean, safe & organized work area.
  • Will provide feedback to supervisors as needed related to areas where we can improve the overall efficiency of the fulfillment center.
  • Ability to use necessary fulfillment equipment and become certified as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or general education degree.
  • Two years of warehouse/fulfillment experience.
  • Receiving experience preferred.
  • Experience with multiple carrier’s shipping software programs.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent, positive attitude and exhibits attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze issues and solve problems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ability to lift 40# frequently throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to bend, lift & stand for at least 8 hours of a day.
  • Ability to obtain forklift & Wave certification.
