Rebates Controller
Role Overview:
- Oversee the complete rebate process, both locally and internationally.
- Provide support to the business in managing rebate agreements, including the maintenance of a comprehensive tracker sheet for all existing customers. Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and update accrual levels on a monthly basis.
- Ensure proper documentation of rebate agreements for audit purposes.
- Calculate rebate values for customers and meticulously review calculations for accuracy. Collaborate closely with sales teams and customers during this process.
- Generate monthly reports for various countries and facilitate clear communication between sales and finance teams regarding rebate matters.
- Manage the rebate process within SAP, overseeing rebate agreements from inception to closure.
- Maintain appropriate manual accrual levels for indirect customers and consistently seek opportunities to enhance the rebate process.
- Work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities for simplification and efficiency improvements.
- Regularly review and clean up existing rebate agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or equivalent qualification.
- Professional qualification in finance or accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
