Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated R&D Manager to manage all R&D activities at Agrauxine. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing our R&D strategy in close collaboration with the Managing Director, Development Director and Group R&D. He will also lead the R&D team within a managerial culture focused on commitment, results and accountability, productivity and efficiency.
The R&D Manager will also be responsible for :
- Ensuring a continuous improvement process to guarantee technical solutions that meet our customers' needs.
- Promoting R&D skills and projects within the company and the Lesaffre Group.
- Managing Agrauxine’ s scientific projects: gathering business needs, defining or validating specifications, supervising studies and research, managing internal partnerships (via the R&D Group) and external partnerships (with universities and research centers).
- Monitor the company's technological and scientific developments and take part in relevant events and conferences.
- Manage the R&D budget.
Qualifications
Formation: Doctorate (PhD) in biological or chemical sciences applied to agri/agro
Experience: 8 to 15 years in an R&D department working on micro-organisms / bio- solutions and international managerial experience

Based in Beaucouzé (49), France, with 30% travel within Europe, North and Latin America mainly.
