Als R&D Assistant heb je een veelzijdige rol, waarbij je samen met de R&D Engineer verantwoordelijk bent voor het optimaliseren en ontwikkelen van mengsels voor de compound. Vind je het leuk om nauwkeurig bezig te zijn en word je blij van gedetailleerd te werk te gaan? Perfect! Het uitvoeren van testen en metingen aan de compound en kabels is ook onderdeel van je rol. Evenals het uitvoeren van typekeuringen van kabelconstructies en het herkennen van kwaliteitsafwijkingen.

Wat houdt de functie verder in?

  • Je doet de voorbereiding en de uitvoering voor proeven ten behoeve van brandgedrag van kabels;
  • Je ontwikkelt kleuren voor de compounds;
  • Je onderhoudt meetmethodes volgens specificatie;
  • Je zorgt voor onderhoud aan de machines en het  lab apparatuur die ten dienste staan van R&D engineer;
  • In samenwerking met de R&D engineer ontwikkel je nieuwe meetmethoden;
  • Je rapporteert schriftelijk de meetgegevens aan de R&D projectleider;
  • Je zet internationale (Engels, Duits en Frans) specificaties om in interne meetmethodes.

Wat breng je mee?

  • Een afgeronde MBO niveau 3/4 opleiding in de richting van laboratorium en/of techniek;
  • Zowel zelfstandig als samen kunnen werken om zo efficiënt mogelijk te werk te kunnen gaan;
  • Zorgvuldig en veilig kunnen werken met verschillende apparatuur in het laboratorium en actief mee denken om de veiligheid in ons lab te kunnen verbeteren;
  • Het hebben van technologische kennis (materiaal, procestechniek, kabelconstructie, specificaties);
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatie vaardigheden, waarbij je zowel mondeling als schriftelijk de Nederlandse en Engelse taal beheerst;
  • Ervaring met het werken met de verschillende Office 365 modules.
