Job Purpose
Ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of all necessary raw and packaging materials, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and collaborating with other members of the supply chain team to ensure proper communication and inventory management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute a comprehensive procurement plan for all raw and packaging materials needed for production.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and minimize inventory costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all materials are available when needed and minimize waste.
  • Work with materials management team to identify potential issues and implement processes to quickly resolve them.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement of materials.
  • Create visibility and reporting structures to senior management.
  • Work closely with supply planner to convert unconstrained demand plan to constrained supply forecast.


Experience & Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 -5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, including sourcing, planning, and inventory management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Good command of both Spoken and written Arabic and English
