What We're Looking For
Help company to continue to build its Quantitative (“Quant”) Systems and research framework for Capital Solutions department of leading FinTech company using experience in building Quant Systems/Tools from the ground up, as well as scaling-up these processes efficiently for credit assets-related initiatives. Coordinate with senior management teams to help build and oversee credit quant systems and help design the infrastructure for analytics, application engineering and data pipelines using understanding of the market data. Assist with the generation of investment ideas, perform modeling research, implement simulations and pricing analytics in the credit assets space. Build highly scalable analytics applications and model platforms that will be used by the entire organization to perform in-depth analysis on the company’s investment portfolios. Help build automated ETL pipelines to support the rapid, but controlled, transition from research to execution in the credit markets space. Build and maintain code repositories related to all analytics and quant systems and coordinate with infrastructure, risk, and capital markets/ principal finance teams to facilitate credit analytics. Build cutting edge applications using emerging technologies to improve the quality of research produced by quantitative strategies group and accelerate their productivity using python, SQL, AWS cloud stack and distributed systems. Coordinate and work with internal teams and external stakeholders that are proficient in computer engineering and development to build out quant systems and applications.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Quantitative and Computational Finance, Capital Markets, or Financial Technology and three (3) years of experience in job offered or three (3) years of quantitative research experience in financial markets
Salary: $165,000/year
