The Associate Quality Specialist maintains quality databases, assists in customer complaints, supports various teams, ensures compliance with standards, and engages in continuous improvement efforts.

As an Associate Quality Specialist, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintains Intelex database as the Administrator, entering audits, NCR’s, updating of records, SOP’s etc.  Support all departments with CAPAS, NCR’s, Audit Findings and follow-up.
  • Functions as the backup Customer Complaint Coordinator assisting with investigations and responses to customers.
  • Pest Control site contact responsible for meeting with the PCO technician weekly, following up on their recommendations and entering work orders as necessary
  • Responsible for the sampling and reporting of the Environmental Monitoring Program which involves investigation of positive results, cleaning, maintenance and visualization of results matrix.
  • Responsible for programs such as Calibration and Sensory, collaborating with all departments involved to help proactively troubleshoot any issues
  • Testing product in the lab as assigned.
  • Active participant of HACCP team, Internal Audit team, Sensory Team, GMP Team and others as required. 
  • Involved in continuous certification with ISO 9001, FSC 2200 and CFIA regulations
  • Participate and advocate for all Safety, Health and Environmental programs to comply with corporate standards and regulatory requirements as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • University or College in related field or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Manufacturing knowledge, preferably in food manufacturing or similar industry.
  • ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, SFCR and FSMA knowledge and experience is an added benefit.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail and Results oriented, proven self –starter with the ability to prioritize work appropriately.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, including the ability to solve position related problems.

Pay Range:

$62,862.40-$83,816.53 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
