NVIDIA's Silicon Solutions Group (SSG) seeks a Quality Prototyping Engineer to join our Hardware Architecture Development (HW ArchDev) team. Joining the SSG team presents an outstanding chance to effectively engage in the entire product development cycle—from early architecture definition through bringup to product release. The HW ArchDev team is central to all silicon and system-level feature development, tradeoff analysis, system integration solutions, and system Product of Record (POR) alignment. As a Quality Prototyping Engineer, you will prototype or validate features that improve the quality of systems or clusters.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop strategies for validating GPU/CPU hardware features on systems and clusters.

  • Perform or automate test runs, data collection, processing, and visualization.

  • Guide or perform debug on marginal fails either from external or internal teams.

What we need to see:

  • Master’s degree (MS) or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), Systems Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience.

  • Background with cluster automation, e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes, Shell automation, etc.

  • Experience in understanding hardware/system features and crafting a test plan

The base salary range is 128,000 USD - 258,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
