As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the Matamoros manufacturing facility. Your role will focus on leading quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
About the Job:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians. Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to manufacturing and engineering teams.

Oversee the inspection and testing of products throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor key quality performance metrics such as yield rates, defect rates, and customer returns, driving continuous improvement efforts.

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications.

Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data from various production stages to track trends, detect anomalies, and recommend process improvements. Prepare detailed quality reports for management, highlighting key metrics and corrective actions.

Support the introduction of new products into production, ensuring quality standards are defined and met from the start. Conduct process validation and testing for new product designs in compliance with industry standards (IPC, UL, RoHS, etc.).

Address and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, collaborating with customers to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Conduct root cause investigations and ensure effective corrective measures are communicated and applied.
About You:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role.

Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), industry standards (ISO 9001, etc.), and quality assurance methodologies.

Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and other quality tools.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in English (90%).
