THE ROLE:
Our site in Billerica, MA preferred but flexible, is seeking a Quality Leader for the Digital Enablement Team. The Quality Leader for the Digital Enablement Team will play a critical role in driving Digital Business Transformation by bridging the gap between manufacturing operations and digital innovation. Leveraging deep expertise in product quality and shop floor processes, this individual will ensure that digital solutions align with manufacturing realities and quality standards. As a key contributor to the digital team, this leader will help integrate manufacturing insights into digital initiatives, enhancing product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Manufacturing Shop Floor Expertise in Digital Transformation:

Act as a liaison between the shop floor and digital teams, providing insights into manufacturing processes, quality challenges, and opportunities. Enable teams to connect the dots for quality across different steps in the manufacturing process

Ensure that digital solutions reflect real-world shop floor needs and contribute to improved product quality and operational excellence by supporting the development of Digital Shadows and Digital Product Passport that will help predict quality of the product during manufacturing process and enable us to track genealogy for selected product lines

Advocate for the voice of manufacturing in all phases of digital transformation projects.

Data-Driven Quality Enhancement:

Lead efforts to integrate quality data from the shop floor into digital dashboards, predictive analytics, and decision-making tools.

Utilize digital tools to analyze and visualize manufacturing and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Support the implementation of AI, machine learning, and IoT solutions to enhance quality monitoring and defect detection.

Establish the go-forward process to manage Digital Shadow and Digital Product Passport within the quality organization.
WHAT WE SEEK:
-
Minimum of 8 years experience driving Quality Systems in a digital environment across a large-scale and diverse manufacturing footprint

Formal Six Sigma training and associated Lean, Blackbelt and SPC credentials

Willing to travel 50% for projects but average 20% travel

Undergraduate degree in applicable field, engineering, computer science, business - information technology
OUTSTANDING CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

Proven track record of developing, implementing and sustaining world-class quality systems.

Direct supplier, Customer and factory experience in managing quality systems, issues and resolution frameworks

Assisting companies in digital transformation initiatives

Hands-on leadership style and a sense of urgency to assist stakeholders

- Compensation: $111,000-$135,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
