Job Description
- Based on the working area assignment at QE, the engineer will follow the KPI to work and to meet New Product quality requirements.
- Manage the quality of material to feedback to SQE team or direct to Supplier for material issue solving during NPI process.
- Manage the finish goods quality in reliability testing.
- Manage the quality of new product transferred and developed on site.
- Monitor the yield and pass rate of quality for continuous improvements.
- Contribute to or oversee product design.
- Follow up doc release, material full kit status, tool / jig for the build, packaging design, process of new product building study & setup.
- Work out process flow, FMEA of new NPI.
- Follow up process SMT, Wave soldering, assembly, testing.
- Work with R&D for issue & advice of solution during the build, then capture in DFM and follow up for closing.
- Supervise production of final version of items and monitor in early stage for product released for production build until being stable.
- Receive and report to upper-level management information on progress of development and roll-out.
- Participate in corrective action requests, root cause analysis, problem-solving teams as related to issues affecting the project.
- Experience using statistical techniques (SPC's, Gauge R & R).
- Experience working with projects in APQP/PPAP environment is preferred, but not essential.
Qualifications
1. 3 years of work experience, at least 2 years of electronics manufacturing experience.
2. English fluent communication.
3. Familiar with the ISO series system.
4. The implementation of the IPC-610 class 2, to meet production requirements.
5. Participated in the training of SPC/ISO/Lean
