Responsibilities:
- Multiple Projects
- Manage and execute testing activities across multiple ongoing projects.
- Prioritize testing tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Test Planning & Design
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Proactively identify risks and propose solutions to enhance the quality of deliverables.
- Test Execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document defects, ensuring clear communication of issues and resolutions.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive testing tasks.
- UAT management
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and outcomes clearly with all stakeholders.
- Project Documentation Support
- Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, including test reports, release notes, and user guides.
- Comfortable to communicate directly to the customer to close gaps in requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously seek to improve testing processes.

- Proactive Communication: Clear and effective communicator who keeps everyone in the loop on testing progress and issues.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Quick thinker with the ability to diagnose issues and suggest practical, effective solutions.
- Automation Skills: Proficiency or hungry to learn and invest time with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to enhance testing efficiency and ensure consistent test coverage.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile workflows to effectively contribute in a collaborative, iterative environment.
- Resourcefulness: Able to make the most out of available tools and creatively solve testing challenges.
- Risk Assessment: Capable of evaluating the impact of bugs and prioritising efforts based on risk and project needs.
- Continuous Learner: Committed to staying updated on the latest testing trends, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a QA role, ideally within a small firm or startup environment.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of software development and testing lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
