Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to analyze features in the applications under test.
- Develop regression, smoke, and sanity test suites based on requirements or user stories.
- Ensure the quality of testing deliverables for assigned projects.
- Coordinate with application users to gather feedback.
- Take ownership of the quality of applications and products to be delivered.
- Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Conduct manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Monitor and report on test execution and defects.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for testing and automation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, or equivalent automation tools.
- Experience in API functional and performance testing.
- Ability to create proper test scenarios for various testing purposes.
- Proficiency in reporting and following up on defects.
- Experience with Jira or similar collaboration tools.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Preferably, experience in the insurance industry.
