Job Description:

We are looking for a Quality Director to lead and reorganize the Quality Department.

The person will be responsible for:

  • Leading the team of quality and the quality management system , in compliance with the applicable standards (EN91xx, EASA Part21, 145, 66 and 147, ISO14001, etc.);
  • Maintaining company certifications and obtaining those necessary to achieve our Operational Plan and sustain our growth;
  • Ensuring that the quality system complies with current regulations through the monitoring of organization, product, and procedures;
  • Maintaining contact with Aviation Authorities and Certification Bodies;
  • Collaborating with company managers to assess the adequacy of company procedures and manuals, while also considering regulatory updates and continuous improvements.
  • Managing internal audits and, when necessary, defining and implementing corrective actions, including those requested by Aviation Authorities and Certification Bodies, ensuring they have had the desired effects;
  • Evaluating processes for new operations, writing qualification reports, and approving possible extensions of the Approved Operations List;
  • Preventing legal risks for the company and the employer;
  • Supervising the qualification and ongoing training of staff;
  • Defining information and training programs for workers' health, environment, and safety, together with the HSE Manager;
  • Preparing the department's annual budget and ensuring that annual operational costs align with the planned budget.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Extensive experience in the aeronautical quality sector;
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations;
  • Experience in managing quality systems;
  • English level C1 and Italian level B2;
  • Aeronautical engineering degree is preferred.

Strategic vision, leadership skills, diplomacy, mediation abilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
