ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Database Administrator to join our team. You thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments and are passionate about optimizing, managing, and securing RDBMS and NoSQL solutions. With a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, you enjoy troubleshooting complex database issues and working closely with development teams to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain RDBMS and NoSQL solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Optimize database performance, including tuning queries, indexing strategies, and schema design.
• Implement and manage replication, high availability, and partitioning/sharding strategies to ensure system scalability.
• Support development teams in designing efficient database schemas, troubleshooting queries, and optimizing database interactions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.
• Ensure database security and compliance with industry best practices and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Advanced SQL knowledge (DDL, DML, DCL) and query optimization skills.
• Experience with Linux-based database environments.
• Familiarity with database backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic production environment.
• English proficiency (B2 level or higher) for effective communication.

NICE TO HAVE

• Cloud experience (AWS or GCP) for managing cloud-based database solutions.
• Experience with Python or Bash scripting for automation and database maintenance.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools for database provisioning and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal communication.
