  • The primary objective of Quality Control specialization within Distribution Quality Job Family is to perform inspections, check testing and sampling procedures for product distribution processes.

  • Carry out distribution line inspections, sampling, testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met.

  • May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods.

  • Apply approval or rejection labels to raw materials and finished goods.

  • Act as a trusted partner to cross functional stakeholders, building strong relationships to drive collaboration and shared success.

  • Support the Distribution team in achieving optimal outcomes in quality, delivery, cost targets, and engaging in continuous improvement activities.  

  • Involved in management of non-conforming products and release of conforming finished goods.

  • Support roles consist of work in a:
    (1) clerical, administrative or specialized support tasks in an office or field setting
    (2) specialized technical tasks or skilled craft work
     

  • Has completed vocational training or obtained equivalent experience.

  • Interacts internally to exchange information.

  • Informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

  • Works independently, likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • 2 years customer service experience.

  • Has detailed knowledge of procedures and his/her administration, uses initiative to handle a wide variety of non-routine situations and conflicts.

  • Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.

$23.63 - $35.44 USD Hourly
