Summary
The Regional Manager, Quality Control, a certified A&P with RII authority who reports to the SR Mgr, QC Line MX, oversees the execution of the Quality Control program established and approved at Allegiant Air, in the assigned region. The role will be responsible for maintenance, assurance all RII are accomplished, as well as all special inspections. Quality Control Inspectors and Receiving Specialists report to the Regional QC Manager, as well as RII Authorized AMT's, One-Time RII's, Inspectors, Receiving Inspectors, and Airworthiness Release Authorized personnel.

Years of Experience:
Minimum ten (10) years of Transport Category Part 121 in Maintenance or equivalent Part 135 Carrier, Military, Part 145 or part 121/135 Aircraft.
Minimum five (5) years of Line/Maintenance with QC or RIA, with at least two (2) years of leadership with direct reports and in a Maintenance capacity and one (1) year of Transport Category Part 121 Inspector or Lead Authorized ATM;s performing inspections.
Preferred Requirements
•Experience and/or qualification in at least one (1) non-destructive testing technique (Engine Borescope, Eddy Current, Ultrasound, Magnetic Particle, Florescent Penetrant).
•Experience working on Airbus A320 family aircraft and CFM 56 engines.
•Proficient with MS Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
•Effective communicator, both written and verbally, and the ability to give clear and concise directions and/or presentations to various audiences.
•Team builder with proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members to a high degree of achievement in a stressful environment.
•Ability to work with other teams and various audiences from all over the organization.
•Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting techn ical procedures, journals, manuals, and reports.
•Master at defining problems and dealing with a variety of variable in situations where only limited information exists.
•Aptitude to interpret and troubleshoot sing written instructions, diagrams, and verbal guidance.
•Proven decision maker with regards to resources, performance, and regulatory constraints.
Job Duties
•Directs, plans and lays out details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by Allegiant in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturers recommendations.
•Assists, supervises and directs all inspection personnel assigned to the Quality Control Department in the assigned region, and ascertains that all inspection records and forms used by Allegiant are correctly executed.
•Ensures compliance with applicable technical publications and provides technical guidance in the performance of maintenance on all aircraft,
•Ensures that no defective or non-airworthy parts are installed in any component and/or aircraft.
•Responsible for the final acceptance of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies and the airworthiness of articles on which work has been performed at outside vendors.
•Ensures the proper tagging and identification of all parts. Sees that rejected and un-serviceable parts, after proper marking, are properly disposed of or rendered unusable.
•Responsible for the inspection and return to service of all certified aircraft undergoing periodic inspection, major repair and/or alteration, and sees that all documentation, including log entries, are correct, signed and properly reviewed.
•Responsible for the quality of work performed and ensures that it is in accordance with current Federal Air Regulations and Bulletins.
•Responsibility for security and management of Quarantine Area.
•Responsible for the accomplishment/administration of monthly shelf-life audits.
•Responsible for coordination, scheduling (initial and recurrent) associated travel arrangements, and certifications for all Quality Control Inspector related training.
•Monitors/Supervises the QC Inspectors relative to Quality Control (Borescope, Eddy Current, FPI, MPI and Ultrasound) Inspection projects accomplishing work on Allegiant Air’s aircraft or aircraft to be added to Allegiant Air’s fleet to ensure that all maintenance and inspections are accomplished in accordance with FAR’s, Allegiant Air’s and manufacturers’ policies and procedures.
•Monitors accuracy and completion of work documents used during maintenance to verify compliance with applicable Allegiant Air requirements, standards, and FAA regulations.
•Reviews all task cards and paperwork generated during inspections, modifications, repairs, etc., for method of corrections, completeness and to verify that Allegiant Air’s policies and procedures are accomplished.
•Accomplishes semi-monthly review of payroll hours and approves as required through Ultipro requirements.
•Ensures any and all RII items are properly signed for.
•Ensures Allegiant Air parts are received properly IAW Allegiant Air GMM requirements.
•During the absence of the Reg Mgr, QC Line MX, duties will be assumed by the SR Mgr, QC Line MX, the other Regional Managers, or the QC Technical Supervisor.
•Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Performs other such duties assigned by the Senior Manager of Quality Control.

Mechanic - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various tools (i.e. drills, ladders, welding, chemicals, etc.). May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to extreme noise (i.e. airport with planes, vehicles, and other machinery), temperature, wind, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Ability to wear personal protective gear. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
