What will you be doing?

Quality assurance is achieved by defining, documenting (manual), implementing, and verifying processes. The results of the verification are reported, and proposals for improvement are initiated.

The QA & QC department takes initiatives to implement legal requirements, industry quality standards within the organization and include them in the quality management system. It ensures that this is guaranteed and that the associated certification is continued. The QC employee mainly works together with the employees, Team Leaders, of the operational departments "GKM" and "Processing".

The focus of the QC employee is mainly on checking established quality parameters of processes and products. Controls are carried out in a structured (planned) manner. In addition, controls are carried out in the context of various types of follow-up orders and improvement projects. In addition to the structural controls, additional controls can be carried out at the discretion of the employee, with the aim of improving the quality of processes and products. The results of the control are directly adjusted and corrected through feedback and re-control. The results of the controls are recorded (digitally) and the data is analyzed (possibly together with other QA/QC colleagues). The results are reported to the operational departments (at the team leader level), and discussions are held on where adjustments are needed. These discussions are led by the QC employee.

Job objective:

To assess the quality of processes and products and the quality of the performed controls. Also, to assess more complex/sizeable internal and external deviations.

Other tasks:

  • The QC employee trains and advises the Quality Care team on investigative work and the quality standards to be followed. He/she does not manage this team;
  • The QC employee is approached for expertise and advice in the event of internal and external deviations. This may also involve evaluating stocks through sampling;
  • Administrative tasks are also involved in handling internal/external reports to block or release batches, etc;
  • As part of continuous improvement, the QC employee may be involved in carrying out additional or different quality controls.

What are we looking for?

  • -Vocational level 4 education or equivalent;
  • Must have knowledge of process and product content to be able to assess their quality.
  • Must have knowledge of process and product content to provide targeted feedback (improvement action) in case of identified quality deviations;
  • Good Dutch and English communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Capable of digitally registering and communicating data.
  • Basic knowledge of product safety (food safety/HACCP);
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, industrial environment.

What do we offer you?

  • Fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position;
  • Competitive salary with a pension scheme and travel allowance;
  • 28 vacation days (for full-time employment);
  • We are a fast-growing company, so there is also room for you to grow.
