We are seeking an QC Analyst II to support our Quality Control team. The QC Analyst II primary responsibilities to support the company’s ongoing clinical trials by performing complex, highly specialized, and time sensitive technical cell manipulation and/or analytical tests to characterize and assess the functionality of final products. This position will work with the current process and Analytical Development teams, facilitating coordination among personnel and providing technical input to facilitate clinical and non-clinical assays.
FLSA Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Monday to Friday; On-site

What You’ll Do:
As an QC Analyst II, you will play a key role in supporting our quality control operations:

Work under minimum supervision.
-
Assist with Qualification and Validation of QC assays.
-
Assist with the installation and validation of sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.

Perform advanced assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of microbiology and molecular/cell biology principles.

Investigate deviations and out of specifications.
-
Participate in functions involving teams, which impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings and improve quality.

Contribute to writing and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Technical Reports, and other Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) documentation as appropriate.

Maintain data integrity and compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, and cGMP regulations.

Complete all testing, including special project/protocol testing in a timely and appropriate manner.

Maintain inventory of QC lab supplies and reagents.

Required Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in biological science or related field.
-
2-5 years of relevant experience in cellular manufacturing and/or process development or in related biological or biochemical applications.

Work Environment:
This position works in a typical office and Quality Control laboratory environment with moderate noise levels and uses phone, computer, laboratory equipment, and office supplies regularly. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, pathogens, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee can be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, risk of electrical shock, sharps, or cuts, while performing tests.
