Job Description Summary:
As the Quality Supervisor you will be responsible to lead the QA Associates to ensure the production of high-quality products at the lowest cost, while meeting the demands of our customers.
Job Related Responsibilities
- Select, supervise, and develop Quality Assurance personnel responsible for plantwide operations
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of all quality aspects of production and micro testing in thermal production facility
- Monitor and enforce proper sanitation and housekeeping procedures
- Monitor all Company, Federal and State communications/audits and implement any necessary changes
- Establishes operational procedures in co-operation with Quality Assurance Manager
- Ensure safety of all personnel within the department
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ensure all department equipment is maintained up to company standards.
- Ensure department is in compliance with all federal and state regulations along with company policy/procedure.
- Utilize Operational Excellence tools to deliver productivity improvements
- Conduct scheduled meetings (department, safety) - Develop workforce through supervision, coaching, and training.
- Ensure all plans and strategies are effectively communicated throughout the department.
- Review, alter, and approve all departmental scheduling issues.
- Manage customer service and personnel issues
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor's Degree in technical or engineering preferred
- 1 year in supervisory roles of people & processes
- 3 years production/manufacturing experience, preferably in the food and/or beverage industry.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds required.
- Basic computer and database application skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Working knowledge of food safety
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices
Preferred Requirements
- ISO (22000, 9000, 14001, etc.) or other management system
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
- HACCP
- PCQI
- Better Process Control School (BPCS)

Pay Range:
$100,000 - $124,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
