Quality Assurance Specialist

Summary:
Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Manage document revision and control, assist with data collection and reporting for quality programs (CAPA, continuous improvement, calibration, preventive maintenance, customer returns), and be part of the internal audit team. Serve as a back-up for the Returns Specialist.
Responsibilities:

• Document Control: Maintain and update quality documentation; ensure accessibility and control
• CAPA: Process and track CAPA reports; support corrective and preventative actions
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives and identify process improvements
• Calibration & Preventive Maintenance: Coordinate calibration; manage maintenance schedules and records
• Customer Returns & Quality Requirements: Backup for customer returns; complete quality documentation; create CofCs and CofAs
• Internal Audits: Assist in planning and conducting audits; prepare reports and follow up on actions
• Supplier Quality Assurance: Support supplier quality management; maintain records and assist with audits
• Quality Reporting: Compile and analyze data; maintain metrics and dashboards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in quality management, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of a formal quality management system (i.e. ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16494, etc
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 50 lbs. unassisted. Assistance must be used for any items over this weight. Assistance is always required for anything weighing over 60 lbs

Preferred

• Internal auditing experience
• Experience in Microsoft D365 ERP system
