Quality Assurance Engineer
- Inspect, verify, compare, measure, control, define, record, maintain and ensure the quality of the manufacturing process, in accordance with procedures, standards and specifications.
- Support the tasks of inspection, verification, and quality tests in the stages of receipt of raw materials.
- Comply with the quality inspection routines and the execution of the quality plans during the production stage until the delivery of the equipment or components that ensure compliance with the established technical specifications.
- Correctly use the measuring instruments and equipment delivered from the metrology process to carry out quality tests.
- Guarantee the optimal storage of the finished product.
- Analyze and point out deficiencies, rework and scrap and work out solutions as a team
- Ensure a smooth assembly process: monitor compliance with job scheduling in terms of quality, quantity, on-time delivery, and productivity
- Basic knowledge of materials selection.
- Knowledge of the latest manufacturing processes in the areas of machining, welding, assembly, inspection and quality control, etc.
- Good knowledge about drawings, QAP, welding map.
- Knowledge of manufacturing codes ASME, ANSI, API
Your Profile / Qualifications
Education Background
- Technician or professional in careers related to quality inspections. Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical preferably
- Valuable training in quality inspections of non-destructive and destructive tests.
Professional Knowledge.
- 4+ Years of experience working in medium sized projects
- (Valuable) 2+ years of experience working in the food & beverage industry
- Interpretation of Plans ISO A - ISO E
- Knowledge of manufacturing codes ASME, ANSI, API
- Regulatory Knowledge in ISO9001-2008, ISO2768, ISO128
- Knowledge of Sampling Inspection
- Use and experience of measuring instruments
- Knowledge of Metalworking
- Operations Cutting, Punching, Bending, Machining
- Knowledge in welding processes for stainless steel pipes.
