About the Team
The GTM (Go-To-Market) QA team at Workday plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and successful launch of new products and features. They are responsible for validating the end-to-end functionality and user experience of these offerings, focusing on real-world scenarios and customer workflows. This team works closely with product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, identifying and mitigating potential issues before they reach our customers. Their dedication to quality helps deliver seamless and valuable experiences to Workday's users.
About the Role
As the Quality Assurance Engineer (With TOSCA expertise), you will be responsible for driving excellence across both Automation and manual testing for critical enterprise applications like Salesforce. You’ll lead the QA strategy for your area, ensuring automation frameworks are robust, scalable, and integrated seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will be a key driver of quality, leading testing efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align quality goals with business objectives. You will also coach and mentor QA engineers, fostering a high-performance culture that is rooted in best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Deliverables

Design and develop automated test scripts using Tosca

Maintain and enhance existing automation test scripts to keep them up to date with evolving application features.

Execute automated test cases across different environments and platforms.

Provide detailed and actionable reports of test results, including identifying bugs and defects, and tracking their resolution.

Collaborate with developers to understand new features, changes, and overall product requirements.

Work with manual QA engineers to transition manual test cases to automated scripts, improving efficiency and coverage
About You
Basic Qualifications
-
4+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, leading both automation and manual efforts, with a focus on delivering quality at scale.
-
2+ years of expertise with TOSCA automation and TA1 certification is a must and qTest automation tools, specifically for Salesforce and Adobe Experience Manager.
-
Tricentis Tosca TA1 certification.
-
Experience working in in-sprint automation and delivered test scripts within the same sprint.
-
A proven track record of building resilient test automation architectures, including reusable components (RTBs), custom objects, and automation utilities that minimize maintenance and maximize coverage.

Deep experience in leading end-to-end testing efforts, including test planning, execution, UAT, regression, and functional testing.
Other Qualifications
-
ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or higher certification is a plus.

Experience with OAuth, Single-Sign-On, REST Web Services, Postman, JSON, XML.

Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using TOSCA, ensuring full coverage of critical workflows.

Proficient with Git for version control and working knowledge of relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server.

Familiarity with other automation tools such as Cucumber and testing frameworks such as JUnit or Cypress.

Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium using C# or JavaScript for creating scalable automation scripts. Hands on experience in programming languages such as C#, Java, Javascript, Python, etc

1+ years of experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS) and familiarity with integrating cloud-based testing solutions.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD integration with automated testing pipelines, in collaboration with DevSecOps teams.

Proven leadership in coaching and mentoring teams, guiding technical reviews, and being a go-to person for troubleshooting complex automation issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile development environment

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Expertise in end-to-end test automation and creating test automation suites at scale.
