This is an amazing opportunity to work on Java + Selenium. The team consists of 2 QA Engineers and is reporting to the QA Team LeaderAbout You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments - B.A. in Computer Science or Software Engineering- 0-2 years of experience in Java/JEE development- 0-2 years of experience in manual and automated testing- Java and Selenium ecosystem.- High proficiency in English – both written and spokenIt would be great if you also had . . .
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment.
- Ability to research and implement new technologies.
- Knowledge of Oracle/SQL
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Familiarity with Unix / Linux
What will you be doing in this role? You will review user stories to understand the acceptance criteria. Work with the team to clarify any doubts. Identify test scenarios based on user stories and write test scripts. Write automated tests - Java + SeleniumDocument and track defects, providing detailed information to assist development. Implement test automation and conduct a wide range of quality control tests, trials, and analyses across systems and applications to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Draft, revise, and approve test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and software strategy. The product you will be testing.Esploro is a research information management system, for all the different types of research outputs created at the institution.The product consists of 3 interfaces: the Research Information - the back office of the system, the Research Portal – discovery interface, and Researcher Profiles – researchers-oriented interface.About the TeamThe QA team consists of 2 team members (we’re looking for the 3rd QA member).
