CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Architect to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Quality Assurance Automation Architect role:
- Provide technical direction and leadership to a team of internal and external QA Engineers.
- Champion learning, growth, engagement, and continuous improvement for yourself and others in the organization.
- Find solutions for the toughest technical challenges in the face of ambiguity.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, developers, and software architects to ensure seamless integration of test automation within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Drive innovation in test automation strategies and tools to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the software development lifecycle.
What you will need:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Proven experience building test automation frameworks and test tools from scratch.
- Demonstrable knowledge of one or more programming languages (preferably JavaScript or Python).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
