Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance and Maintenance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for reviewing and verifying data associated with newly boarded merchant applications and supporting ongoing changes to current merchant accounts. Your focus will be on ensuring data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, reporting errors, and supporting the verification of our onboarding and maintenance processes for merchant accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and experience in the payments industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate data for newly boarded merchant applications, ensuring all information is accurate and complete making corrections and tracking errors as needed.
- Support ongoing changes to current merchant accounts, verifying data modifications and ensuring updates are correctly implemented.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in merchant application data, working closely with the operations and onboarding teams.
- Monitor the accuracy and quality of merchant data across systems, reporting any inconsistencies or trends that may require attention during the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with the onboarding and account management teams to improve processes related to merchant application and account changes.
- Assist in the development and refinement of quality assurance protocols to enhance data integrity and support seamless merchant onboarding with internal teams including product, credit and sales.
- Provide support for escalations related to merchant application and account data, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Merchant Services/Payments Industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in quality assurance, data review, or similar roles, preferably within the payments industry.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems used for merchant application processing and account management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with merchant onboarding and account management processes in the payments industry.
- Familiarity with data management and quality assurance best practices.
- Knowledge of card brand regulations and underwriting processes a plus.
