Join PPG as QM Business Analyst!
We are seeking a Business Analyst who has the ability to clearly express and share ideas and risks both verbally and in writing, in a positive and effective manner to their supervisor and team members.
This role involves acting within well-defined policies and procedures and being closely supervised. The primary focus will be on existing products or processes
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to rapidly assimilate assigned business area's products and processes
- Knowledge and experience in gathering requirements, functional design, testing and working with business processes
- Understanding of how IT affects an organization and ability to link it to redesigned business processes
- Good technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
- Ability to familiarize with software development and release methodologies utilized for business applications within assigned business area
- Ability to build business relationships with individual business and technical team members within assigned business area
- Networks with other PPG Analysts to understand how IT solutions are deployed in other areas to solve business problems
Qualifications
- A four year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of IT or a related discipline experience
- Analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
- Must have a strong systems and process orientation
- Must be comfortable working remotely using primarily virtual means of collaborating with colleagues and managers
