We are hiring immediately for QHSE Specialist NEA - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.
Purpose of the Job
Ensure effective implementation of QHSE policies and procedures and assist in a sustainable culture of QHSE at depots and site locations across the then North-East Asia business (Japan / South Korea / Taiwan).
What you’ll do
- Assist in the implementation of policies, processes that promote continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment
- Assist in the completion of project tenders relating to QHSE
- Providing advice and assistance to functional managers, supervisors and staff
- Assists in ensuring compliance to local legislative requirements across the Aggreko North-East Asia region including Japan, South Korea and Taiwan
- Assist in producing learning/safety alerts in line with reports received within the global risk and accident database
- Assist in the QHSE internal and external audit programme
- Maintains Aggreko QHSE documentation and support translation
- Ensure adherence to Aggreko’s policies, procedures and standards in sites and depots.
- Assist and deliver QHSE training to staff.
- Assist QHSE induction to new starters and existing employees
- Conduct Risk assessments
- Assist in accident/incident investigations
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- High level written and verbal communication (English and Japanese)
- University Degree Qualifications in related discipline preferred
- Possess certified course in Health, Safety or Environmental
- Auditing experience preferably with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Computer literate, experience with MS office packages
- Effective administrator, well organized and methodical
- Able to travel with in the North East Asia Region
