Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies and procedures to ensure design compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and manage QA/QC activities across multiple projects, ensuring all engineering deliverables meet established quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to QA/QC requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on QA/QC matters to engineering teams and other stakeholders.
- Review and approve project documentation, including quality plans, inspection and test plans, and quality control procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to uphold quality standards throughout the supply chain.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Prepare and present QA/QC reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in QA/QC practices and incorporate them into company processes.
- Lead the development and enhancement of metrics, reporting mechanisms, and processes to ensure performance, compliance, and asset integrity align with business needs.
- Collaborate and promote QA/QC programs and policies regionally.
- Provide expert thought leadership in QA/QC, working independently to research and interpret complex issues and, when necessary, guide supporting team members as a strategic contributor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC.
- Comprehensive knowledge of QA/QC standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage QA/QC teams.
- Proficiency with QA/QC software and tools.
- QA/QC certification (e.g., ASQ, CQE) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% in the APAC region.
- Additional minimum qualifications may apply.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Frequent coordination with senior internal and external personnel, often across departments.
- Skill in identifying technical gaps and developing solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to audiences with varying technical knowledge.
