QA Test Engineer II

CSG Field Service Management (FSM) is looking for an experienced senior software test engineer II. This position will work as part of a technical team responsible for solutioning, building and implementing quality codes and providing leadership/collaboration in cross-functional test design and planning activities. This role also works with Test & Defect Management tools, Test automation tools and scripting languages to complete tasks.

We are looking for a Test Engineer II who will:

• Reviews and analyzes overall architecture of complex software, and networking systems to compose detailed test plans ensuring proper requirements coverage, executing the tests, documenting the results, analyzing the output, root cause analysis and communicating results.
• Participates in activities related to Agile and DevOps practices including planning, reviews, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, corrective actions, etc.
• Ability to quickly understand new features/functionality and understand how it applies to the existing functionality.
• Performs automated and manual test execution for functional, application, regression, and integration tests.
• Works with various applications, systems, and networking groups to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Proactive team player that is comfortable collaborating to solve complex issues or problems.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who has:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
• Experience with relevant technology/framework/tools including but not limited to: Python, JavaScript, Selenium, Behave, JMeter.
• Scripting languages in Linux environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in English in a business environment
