ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintain the Quality System document binder to ensure it is complete and current.
• Receive sterilization raw materials (bags, liquid Ethylene Oxide, biological indicators) and release to inventory or direct use if conforming to requirements. Notify plant manager of non-conforming conditions.
• Review temperature and humidity charts daily. Notify plant manager of non-conforming conditions. Change out charts at specified times.
• Review weekly cleaning records. Approve if complete and conforming to requirements.
• Review kit production work order records. Approve if complete and conforming to requirements.
• Put biological indicators on test, take off test, evaluate and record results.
• Review sterilization lot records. Approve if complete and conforming to requirements.
• Release finished product for distribution as appropriate. Exercise authority to withhold approval to release product pending quality issues.
• Assist in the investigation of non-conforming product and customer complaints.
• Assist with ensuring that all quality procedures are followed in the production of product.
• Assist Corporate Quality with quality issues at the facility level.
