Job Summary
Reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, the QA Systems supervisor provides daily guidance on the plant's Quality systems. As a QA subject matter expert, the QA Systems supervisor will ensure compliance with regulatory activities including USDA, FDA, ODA, and CFIA. Be the plant's SQF practitioner responsible for coordinating all verification and validation activities and ensuring the plant is compliant to the SQF standards.
In this role:
- You will lead and update Food Safety/HACCP plans and maintaining records related to food safety and quality.
- You will oversee compliance to third-party certifications (kosher, Non-GMO, SQF)
- You will partner in improving compliance with audits.
- You will oversee plant's mock recall programs.
- You will monitor Food Defense requirements through training and vulnerability assessments.
- You will lead a team of direct reports -- coaching team members in critical leadership and quality management skills.
- You will work with on-site USDA inspectors and provide correct and preventive actions for Non-conformance records (NRs)
- You will partner with teams to ensure continuous improvement through root cause analysis to reduce Quality incidents (QIs), Foreign Material and improve adherence to CAG Quality and Food Safety programs.
You will have:
- B.S. degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field.
- 4 years' experience in the food industry with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Systems, GFSI Audits, Kosher Audits, Third-Party Audits
- Knowledge of Good Sanitation Practices (GSPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Knowledge of the Canning industry, including Better Process Control School
- Working knowledge of SQF Standards for Food Safety or equivalent quality/food safety standards SQF Certification.
- Proficiency in regulatory requirements USDA, CFIA, FDA, and ODA

Compensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
