The QA Supervisor is responsible to assists in the management of quality assurance activities for all operation areas. Provide technical assistance and training to personnel. Monitor and verify the Food Safety program, HACCP plan's and CCPs. Assure customer requirement and documented by regulatory are properly reviewed and implemented. Conduct periodic plant inspections. Coordinate and support for audit, visit of customer, regulatory, certifying bodies and corporate QA audit. Tracking progress of corrective actions. Responsible for reporting any food safety issues to management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards are met.

Additionally, this position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining plant certification for fully compliance to Quality & Food Safety, ISO9001, Non-GMO & IP Programs, GHP, HACCP, Kosher, Halal and all corporate quality system.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare documents to support new product launch, qualification, customer approval etc.

  • Work with sales to complete customer qualification for new process.

  • Set GHP standard in the new process to meet/exceed customers’ requirement

  • Complete equipment qualification (IQ&OQ&PQ), process validation, and sanitation & analytical validation for the new process.

  • Develop validation/qualification deliverables such as Validation Plans, Requirement, Specifications, Traceability Matrices, Summary Reports and Change Controls.

  • Responsible to promote and enforce a food safety culture and be an active participant in the Food Safety Team.

  • Drive completion of corrective/preventative actions through Management team or Daily Operational Reviews to achieve quality target.

  • Prepare documented investigations for consumer complaint, quality incident or food safety alerts.

  • Drive continuous improvement to meet high quality requirements customers.

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher in Science, Chemical or Relate field.
  • 5-10 years for work experience in Quality Assurance role.
  • Experience in implementing new process or new projects is advantage.
  • Strong knowledge on Food safety, GMP, HACCP and known ISO9001, Non-GMO & IP Programs, ISO/IEC17025, Lean Six Sigma etc., Continuous improvement to quality.
  • Strong communication skills
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality control techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to use LIMS system, SAP system or experience is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of starch production or modified starch is advantageous
