We are currently seeking an experienced QA Manager to manage the team of QA engineers (both manual and automation).
As a Quality Assurance Manager, your role will include:
Technical Skills
- This is a techno managerial role with hands on technical experience in ecommerce domain with > 10 yrs experience
- Multi product experience and multi skill exposure will be added advantage
- Also, the candidate should own end-to-end responsibility of QA process for the product/ team responsible for with hands on experience and expertise in testing process and products
- The candidate has to drive the process from inception to closure
- Reviews other's test cases, provide feedback when needed to make sure policies and QA best practices are followed
- Thorough understanding of STLC & SDLC & agile methodologies & should be expert in Jira tool
- Multi-tasking capabilities and leadership qualities required
- Make recommendations for minimizing repetitive errors and improving processes
- Manages reported defects among the team members
- Identify test strategy, plan, test scope and test risks
- Design and development of test cases based upon system specifications documentations
- Execute and report test cycles for manual and automated tests
- Balance test execution with manual and automation process
- Own production bugs, analyse and incorporate necessary changes in the testing scenarios/ use cases
- API Testing, Database testing will be an added advantage
People Management
- People management experience of 5+ years
- Mentor and lead the team on technical subjects
- Work as part of QA team, to review technical requirements and designs, raise questions whenever needed, asking strong objective questions to team members in case of non-compliance or missed deliverables or low-quality outcomes
- Build and improve automation expertise among the team members
- Responsible for People management for all team members, appraisal process, 1:1, feedback, grooming and upskilling team members
Good to have experience with
- Scrum Master skills are plus
- E-commerce domain experience
- Logistics and warehouse operations experience
- QA Automation for SaaS products
Working skills
- Quick learner and proactive approach needed
- Excellent communication skills required (Verbal & Written) with Onshore & Offshore stakeholders
- Team player and collaboration approach
