What you will be doing
responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive software QA strategies and processes.
- Manage and mentor QA team members, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate testing schedules and ensure timely completion of QA activities.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
- Evaluate and implement testing tools and technologies to improve QA efficiency.
- Monitor and report on software quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
- Facilitate communication between QA team, developers, and stakeholders.
- Ensures base applications meet appropriate quality standards.
- Adheres to the departmental application testing and client delivery process standards.
- Provides input on product direction to product managers.
- Coordinates with industry compliance consultants and product managers to verify applications meet regulatory compliance.
- Ensures base applications meet appropriate quality standards.

What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience managing and leading QA teams
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Skills
- Testing and debugging software.
- Conducting research and analyzing data.
- Organizing databases.
- Using relevant tools (Jira, Cucumber, Selenium, Test pad, Xray, TestRail).
- Knowledge of coding languages like Python and Java
- Knowledge of FIS products and services
- Skill in project management, organization, communications, analytical and people skills
- Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure
- Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive level clients
- Ability to analysis client's business needs and determine related information services support

- Hands on Software manual and automation - testing
- Technically responsible for the quality of software in projects
- Acts in line with departmental and project processes
- Manages a team of Test engineers, this includes mentoring team, administrative responsibilities.
- Guides the Test Engineers in the design, create test cases, test bed preparation, manual and automation testing.
- Determines required software interface in close consultation with the technical experts;Advises on internal quality assurance
- Has an important say in the choice of Testing environment and has ultimate responsibility for the software testing.
- Manage daily activities and ensure team is engaged and propelled to do more, should lead by example.
- Experience on application security testing and remediation.
