Job Description:

The QA Automation Engineers are responsible for planning, design, development and execution of test processes, test plans and test scripts. You will design and implement automated and occasionally, manual test suites for our products in an Agile environment. Establish and maintain bidirectional requirements traceability to test cases. Utilizes proficiency and strong hands-on experience in developing both manual and automated test scripts.

• Drive the current test automation frameworks and current QA processes and develop and execute manual/automated test scripts for new and existing products

• Active participation in – Standups, Sprint Planning, Refinement meetings, Retrospections, and all the QA team related meetings.

• Automate the scenarios using the existing frameworks built in house and fixing the automation test issues when the application code is changed

• Define QA standards, strategies, and processes, observing industry best practices

• Follow and adhere to the best practices of software test engineering, Agile methodology, QA practices and processes in the organization.

• Own the deliverables such as Test Reports, Test Cases & quality of the code in the module/features you work, and the quality of the product tested

• Be an active participant in all the CI/CD activities and own the code promotion to higher environments when scheduled

• Be a part of Prod Support activities and answer to the Pager Duty while scheduled

• Enhancing the automation frameworks used for UI/API testing

• Effective communication with the Product owners and Dev leads to triage the issues created by you and your peers and prioritizing the fixes

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in Web Application automation testing

• Proficient in at least 1 framework such as Playwright and/or Cypress

• Experienced in BDD tools like Cucumber preferred
